The deadline for the survey on the pilot weapons screening equipment program has been extended to Sun., April 28, 2024, to ensure students, staff, families and the community have an opportunity to provide feedback on the program. As shared during the Feb. 22, 2024, School Board meeting, the weapons screening equipment program started in May 2023 and has been ongoing at all secondary school locations (not including the K-8 schools). The feedback received from this survey will help inform the formal staff recommendation to the School Board regarding the future of the weapons screening equipment program in ACPS.
