PTAC Summer Camp Directory

Families looking to plan ahead for Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) Spring and Summer break, as well as year-round programs have two available resources:

• Alexandria Beyond the Classroom (ALX Beyond) - the hub for expanded learning opportunities in the City of Alexandria – opening the doors to learning and fun. Check the ALX Beyond Youth Program Locator for information on Summer and Spring Breaks as well as academic year programs within the City of Alexandria for children and youth (ages 3-19).
• The Alexandria Council of Parent-Teacher Associations (PTAs/PTSAs) (PTAC) Summer Camp Directory is a free online guide, featuring dozens of summer camps — full day, half-day and overnight  — for children of all ages. The directory listing is provided in English and Spanish.
  • PTAC has been providing this annual directory for the past five years and proceeds from the camp listings go toward funds that assist ACPS students through the PTAC Scholarship Fund.
