Student Enrollment Data Webpage Is Live
Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) launched a student membership (enrollment) webpage on Oct. 1, 2024. This webpage is a valuable resource for students, staff, families and community members, offering a comprehensive view of our student enrollment data.
Throughout the school year, you will be able to access the following information:
- Enrollment by School: Detailed enrollment figures will be published on the first business day of each month by 5 p.m., from October through June, allowing you to see how enrollment changes across all schools in our division.
- Average Elementary Homeroom Class Size: Stay informed about the average class sizes at the elementary level, ensuring a transparent look at our classroom environments.
- Fall Membership (Enrollment) Reports: Access reports that provide a snapshot of our enrollment numbers, helping you understand how our student population is growing and/or changing.
Later this fall, we will introduce an interactive dashboard on the webpage that will allow users to explore the data in greater detail, offering a dynamic and engaging way to understand ACPS student enrollment trends.
The plan was publicly shared in a School Board brief on Sept. 6, 2024. Following the October webpage launch, the page will be updated on the first business day of each month by 5 p.m. through June 2025. The annual Fall Membership (enrollment) Report will be formally shared with the School Board at its Nov. 7, 2024 meeting.
