Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) has designed a new poster to serve as a reminder and an aid when our students need help.
Each section in the poster focuses on a specific area and resource:
- Academic support.
- Mental health tools.
- Substance abuse resources.
- The ACPS anonymous reporting system.
The posters will be placed in the restrooms and hallways at each secondary school so that students can readily see the poster and receive information to assist them and their peers.
“As ACPS continues to provide support to students using multiple strategies, this is yet one more way for them to get information on an individual basis and help enhance their own emotional and academic development,” said Executive Director of Student Support Teams Dr. Victor Martin.
As part of our ACPS Equity for All Strategic Plan, this is another way to show “We Care About All of You!”
