The 2022-23 academic year is about to begin in Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) as all students return Aug. 22. ACPS Chief of Human Resources Dr. Melanie Kay-Wyatt, who will serve as interim superintendent as of Sept. 1, 2022, shares some welcoming words for the new school year.
