The Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) Family and Community Engagement (FACE) team is launching a division-wide Family Engagement Action Team (FEAT). Led by a diverse group of ACPS caregivers and staff members, FEAT aims to serve as an advisory, advocacy and action body to help advance ACPS’ mission and support all members of the community to thrive. FEAT emerged from a partnership with Kindred, a D.C.-based non-profit organization that collaborates with schools and districts in creating antiracist and liberated communities.
Please join us on March 4, 2024, at 6:30 p.m. at Ferdinand T. Day Elementary School (1701 N. Beauregard Street) to learn more about how FEAT evolved, what its work has meant to its founding members and how you can support its goals.
Childcare for ages 3-8, dinner and interpretation services will be provided. Please RSVP online.
