WUSA-9: Alexandria City High School players pick their brackets

Kicking off March Madness, WUSA-9 visited Alexandria City High School to meet with the men’s basketball team as they made their predictions and highlighted their record-breaking season winning a total of 20 games.

The Patch spotlighted Alexandria City High School students’ costumed reading event for Charles Barrett Elementary School students on Read Across America Day.

The Zebra: Alexandria Students Win Prestigious Award for Documentary, ‘They Are All Honored Here’

A group of Alexandria City High School students won the Barbara Johns Youth Award for Human Relations and Civil Rights for their documentary, “They Are All Honored Here,” a poignant examination of their journey to the Equal Justice Initiative’s National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery, Alabama. The Zebra covered this amazing recognition.
