Download the ParentSquare App to Receive Important Notifications

At the start of the 2022-23 school year, Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) launched a new family engagement platform called ParentSquare to provide families and staff with consistent two-way communication.

As the school year progresses and the winter months are quickly approaching, ACPS encourages all staff to download the free ParentSquare mobile app to ensure access to accurate, time-sensitive and important information such as weather advisories, school closures and delays.

With the mobile app, staff have all of the benefits of a ParentSquare account with the added ability to:

• Receive important notifications from the school division on your phone.
• Set app notification preferences to determine what kinds of notifications you receive on your phone. 
• Keep your phone number private.

Don’t delay! Make sure you are able to receive important notifications from ACPS. Get started in three easy steps:

1. Download the ParentSquare app for iOS or Android devices from the Apple App store or Google Play store.
2. Log in to ParentSquare using your ACPS email address and confirm the contact information.
3. Update your notification frequency settings.
