Opt-In by Jan. 6, 2023, for Optional Electronic Delivery of W-2 Statements

Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) is pleased to begin offering all ACPS employees electronic delivery of their 2022 Wage and Tax (W-2) statement. With this new feature, staff can now view and download their W-2 by logging into the ACPS Employee Self Service (ESS) portal and following the instructions provided. Electing to receive W-2 statements digitally will provide you with earlier, secure and remote access to your W-2 statement, immediately upon availability, rather than having to wait to receive it by U.S. mail. Staff will also be able to independently download and print as many copies as desired.

Employees who choose to take advantage of this new feature will need to login to their ESS portal in order to provide consent and opt in by Jan. 6, 2023. Staff who do not opt in for electronic delivery in advance of the deadline will continue to receive W-2 paper statements by mail. Our Financial Services team asks all employees who prefer to continue receiving paper W-2 statements to please ensure their address in ESS is current. Any updates or changes of address can be modified in ESS.
