Upcoming November Flu Shot Clinics

Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) will partner with CVS Pharmacy throughout the month of November to conduct pop-up flu shot clinics for staff. Flu shot vaccinations are optional and free for all ACPS staff, and we ask that employees bring their health insurance card with them. To ensure that all staff who wish to receive the vaccination have access, pop-up clinics will occur on various days and time slots:

Mon., Nov. 7, 9-11 a.m.

• ACPS Transportation Department
• Alexandria City High School - King Street Campus
• Alexandria City High School - Minnie Howard Campus
• Alexandria City High School - Satellite Campus
• F.C. Hammond Middle School
• Samuel W. Tucker Elementary School

Fri., Nov. 11, 2-4 p.m.

• Douglas MacArthur Elementary School
• Ferdinand T. Day Elementary School
• George Mason Elementary School
• Jefferson-Houston PreK-8 IB School
• John Adams Elementary School/Early Childhood Center
• Lyles-Crouch Traditional Academy
• Mount Vernon Community School

Please note that staff are not required to attend the flu clinic at their designated worksite. All ACPS staff have access to vaccinations at any of the designated locations and on any of the specified days and times. Flu shots are also available at clinics, doctors offices and pharmacies.
