Cora Kelly School for Math, Science and Technology

Remembering former ACPS teacher Cora Kelly

Cora Lee Webster Kelly (1869–1953) was a beloved teacher in Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS). Her grave can be found in Washington Street United Methodist Church Cemetery. Her grave reads: “Beloved teacher who trained the hearts and minds of Alexandria youth through 53 years of dedicated service.” 

The Cora Kelly School for Math, Science and Technology opened in 1959.
