Extended School Year (ESY) Curriculum

Students with disabilities will receive special education and/or related services provided beyond the normal school year for the purpose of providing a free appropriate public education (FAPE) to a student with a disability.

• Consideration of ESY services is a part of the IEP process.
• ESY services, if deemed necessary by the IEP team, will vary in type, length of time, and inclusion of related services, depending on the individual needs of the student.
• Student registration for ESY will be completed by the student's case manager. Please contact your child’s case manager if you have questions regarding ESY eligibility.
