Spring Break is set for Mon., April 14, 2025 through Fri., April 18, 2025, throughout ACPS.

Volunteering with ACPS has created lasting bonds and positive impacts, as seen in the stories of Maggie Debelius and Tia Norris-Towler, who both formed meaningful connections with students through their tutoring and mentorship. 

ACPS is excited to share the draft of its 2025–30 Strategic Plan which will serve as the roadmap to guide the school division’s priorities over the next five years.

Two new proposed boundary maps, the Red and Indigo plans, are available for community feedback as part of the ongoing School Boundary Redistricting Process. The final decision on the new boundaries will be made by the School Board on June 12, 2025. 

The next regularly scheduled Alexandria City School Board meeting will be held on April 24, 2025

The ACPS Office of Athletics is excited to launch new middle school sports programs next school year, including Football, Soccer, Cheer and Debate.

ACPS hosted the second Employee Wellness Day on Tue., April 1, 2025, at George Washington Middle School. During the event, 52 employees from across the school division came together for an afternoon focused on health, connection and community.
