ACPS 2025 Employee Wellness Day of Movement

Save the date! Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) invites all staff to the 2025 Employee Wellness Day on Tue., April 1, 2025, beginning at 3:45 p.m. The event will be held at George Washington Middle School (1005 Mount Vernon Avenue). Employees can meet colleagues from across the school division and engage in conversation as they take on the one-mile journey around the track together as well as participate in other activities during the event.

Giveaways will be available for participants during the event. The Employee Wellness Day will officially kick off the division-wide Spring Step Challenge. Beginning Tue., April 1, 2025, employees can register for the Spring Step Challenge by visiting https://ACPSmovement.summertimechallenge.com. Employees must create an account using the Summertime Challenge app. Staff can register as a group or individually. Registration will close on April 12, 2025, at 5 p.m. 

The Spring Step Challenge will officially begin on Sun., April 13, 2025. The challenge will end on Sat., May 24, 2025. Steps can be tracked and recorded by using the app. Prizes will be awarded to the individual with the most steps and the two teams with the most steps before the end of the 2024-25 school year.
