ACPS Email System Transition to Gmail Will Go Live Sunday at 11:00am (June 4, 2023)

The Department of Technology Services has communicated to Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) staff that the ACPS email system is transitioning to Google this Sunday at 11:00 AM ( June 4, 2023). Once the transition is complete and we have officially launched, staff will use Google to access their ACPS email accounts and calendars. There will be no changes to email addresses and staff will continue to log into Google to access Google Drive.

Historical emails from Zimbra have been migrated to Gmail. For additional information regarding the transition, please visit our FAQs document.  Additional tutorials will be added to this list prior to the launch on Sunday at 11:00am.

If you do not know your ACPS Google Drive password, email google@acps.k12.va.us as soon as possible, so you can access your email and calendar on the go-live date. Please note that your Google Drive is the same as the password you use to access Google documents.
