ACPS Hosted First Employee Wellness Day of Movement Event

On June 11, 2024, Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) hosted its first-ever Employee Wellness Day of Movement event at George Washington Middle School. Employees met colleagues from across the division to stretch, dance and walk together. Fresh fruits, granola snacks and prizes were given out. Thank you to those who participated for making the event so successful!

The Employee Wellness Walk will officially kick off the division-wide Summer Step Challenge. ACPS employees can register for the Summer Step Challenge by visiting https://ACPSmovement.summertimechallenge.com. Employees must create an account using the Summertime Challenge app. Staff can register as a group or individually. Registration will close on June 17, 2024, at 5 p.m.

The Summer Step Challenge will run from June 17 through July 28. Steps can be tracked and recorded by using the app. The top three groups or individuals will receive a prize.
