Reminder: ACPS Transitions to New Bottled Water Vendor
A new contracted bottled water vendor is coming soon! The Alexandria City Public School (ACPS) Department of Financial Services’ procurement team has been working diligently to transition our bottled water services to Ready Refresh. A message was sent out to all treasurers the week of Sept. 4, 2023, asking all schools and departments to refrain from submitting any additional orders to the current bottled water vendor, Primo Water, after Sept. 8, 2023. All services with Primo Water will be discontinued on Fri., Sept. 29, 2023.
Over the next few weeks, Ready Refresh will directly contact departments and schools that currently have water services. Ready Refresh began calling departments on Sept. 20, 2023.
Our current water vendor, Primo Water, will be onsite the week of Sept. 27-29, 2023, to remove your current water bottles and equipment. Delivery of your new bottled water and equipment from Ready Refresh will be scheduled during the week of Oct. 2-6, 2023.
All departments will receive one final closeout bill from DS Waters of America, Inc. (Primo Water) doing business as Crystal Sprints, once all equipment is collected.
