School Facilities Modernization Project Information
The Capital Programs, Planning, and Design (CPPD) team at Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) is committed to expanding and modernizing school facilities to accommodate the growing student population. From planning through to construction, CPPD oversees capacity projects designed to ensure schools have the space needed to support current and future enrollment.

Capital Improvement Program Budget
In addition to managing these capacity projects, the team carefully analyzes school utilization, capacity, and enrollment trends to make data-driven decisions that guide long-term planning. These initiatives are funded through the Capital Improvement Budget, ensuring the district can continuously meet the needs of its students and community.
