Our volunteer activities vary from school to school. Volunteers can get involved and make a difference by helping with a range of activities.

ACPS Volunteer Appreciation
ACPS deeply appreciates all of our school volunteers who support our students and is proud to recognize one outstanding volunteer annually from each of our 18 schools. School leaders and staff nominate a volunteer to be honored for going above and beyond expectations in making a difference for students at their school. Each spring, ACPS joins Volunteer Alexandria to honor these school volunteers at a community recognition event for volunteer service in the City of Alexandria.
A list of past honorees is available here.
Thank you to all of our school volunteers for your contributions to our community!
