  • Free and Reduced Price Meals for Families Impacted by Government Shutdown

We encourage our families who are impacted by the government shutdown to submit an application for free and reduced price meals for your child(ren). You can apply online or download and print a paper form.

Applications will be processed in a manner that reflects your unique circumstance. For example, students with parents or guardians who are not receiving income must indicate their income as zero ‘0’ or leave the field blank.

If your household has applied this school year and was denied benefits, you MUST supply our office with documentation (ie: proof indicating you are a part of the furlough/government shutdown, recent pay stubs, etc.)

Families impacted by the government shutdown are urged to contact ACPS School Nutrition Services should their circumstance be remedied by a return to work and/or restoration of pay for the furlough period.

If you have any questions and/or concerns, please contact ACPS School Nutrition Services at 703-619-8407.
