- Encore classes for PreK-5th are scheduled.
- Flexible schedule including library visits and IB and classroom instruction vary. Please contact Ms. Facemire to schedule.
Students in Kindergarten start checking out books the second week of school after they have learned about how to properly take care of their book. Students return their library book and during their Encore class they will select a new book to take home. Parents may request that their child be allowed to checkout more than one book.
Students in first grade may checkout one book a week for the first half of the year. Starting in January, students may checkout up to two books each week during Encore.
Students in second through eighth grade may checkout two books at a time. Students may checkout additional books for research projects.
Parents, you can also checkout books from the school library. Email Ms. Facemire for more information.
All library book are checked out for a two-week time period. Students may not checkout a book if they have a book checked out that is overdue.
Fees and Replacement Costs
We do not issue late fees; however, students will be asked to pay the replacement cost or bring in a replacement copy should they damage or lose a library book. The librarian will work with students who need to replace a lost or damaged book by helping them find a low-cost replacement.
