Alexandria City Schools (ACPS) is diverse, internationally recognized, and situated just outside of Washington, DC. We are an urban-suburban school division in Virginia committed to equity and academic excellence. Our story is immortalized in the film Remember the Titans, and we have a history dating back to the establishment of public education in the United States. All our schools are accredited and dedicated to providing a safe and healthy learning environment that is responsive to the needs of all students.
ACPS has 18 schools, including two middle schools, two K-8 schools, one pre-K school and T.C. Williams High School. We serve more than 15,500 students who hail from more than 120 countries and speak 121 languages.
