Communicate with ACPS
There are a variety of ways to get in touch with ACPS.
Have a question, concern, or comment you want to share with ACPS leadership? Community members can ask questions about division-wide issues to ACPS leaders at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ask ACPS is part of a new system to make it easier for families to submit questions and comments and get a timely response. Please keep in mind that the email@example.com email is not for communications concerning your student. Please continue to contact school administrators for issues related to a specific school and your student. Confidential student information should not be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Parent liaisons and outreach assistants will also continue to connect families in need of assistance through the ACPS Helpline. Families can text or call the Helpline Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.:
- For English, text or call 703-844-1763
- For Spanish, text or call 703-844-3424
- For Amharic, text or call 703-927-6866
- For Arabic, text or call 703-927-7095
Language Line Direct Response
Thanks to a new language-support service, calling ACPS schools will be easier for thousands of families who speak Spanish, Amharic, Arabic, Pashto or Farsi. Language Line’s Direct Response service will allow ACPS families to contact their school with interpretation service already on the line, eliminating language barriers they may have encountered in the past. ACPS will be the first school system in Virginia and the third in the country to implement this Language Line service. Check your student’s backpack or your text messages in the coming weeks for your school’s Direct Response phone number and language code. Call us! We speak your language.
