Stop. Look. Listen. Addressing Cultural Perspectives on Mental Health & Substance Abuse
-
ACHS—King Street

ACPS middle school and high school families are invited to join the ACHS Ethiopian and Eritrean Student Club, Ethiopian and Eritrean Alliance for Education and New Hope to discuss mental health and substance abuse issues in the community, the dangers of fentanyl, vaping and marijuana, and how to prevent your child from using drugs. Workshop will be presented in Amharic with English interpretation services. Dinner and childcare for children ages 3-8 provided with your online registration.

These workshops will help families recognize the signs of substance abuse, explain how families can help make a difference and connect attendees to resources. For additional information on substance abuse and how ACPS can help, access our webpage.
