ACHS Pathways Expo

ACHS King Street

The first Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) Pathways Expo is scheduled on Wed., Dec. 11, 2024, from 5:30-8 p.m. for eighth and ninth grade students and families. The expo begins with a general session in the Alexandria City High School (ACHS) King Street auditorium. In addition,  tables representing and sharing information about Academy Pathway programs will be set up in the ACHS King Street cafeteria, where information will be provided to students and families. Special guests Superintendent of Public Instruction Lisa Coons and Associate Superintendent of Programs Dr. Andy Armstrong from the Virginia Department of Education will also be in attendance.

ACPS Pathways Expo Program of Events

Academy Pathway teachers, current students, business partners and post-secondary institutions will also be on-site to answer questions. Additionally, buses will be available to provide transportation for individuals to the ACHS Minnie Howard Campus Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) Academy’s engineering and health science labs. As part of the expo, demos and Academy lab tours will be held at the King Street and Minnie Howard campuses. Academy program information sessions will take place in the Black Box Theatre at the ACHS King Street Campus.
