New School Boundaries for SY 2026-27
At the School Board Meeting on June 12, 2025, the Alexandria City School Board approved Elementary School Triangle Map Plan 3 and Middle School Option E as the final boundary changes to go into effect for the start of the 2026–27 school year. Approximately 1,400 currently enrolled students will be impacted by the school boundaries that go into effect on July 1, 2026.

Note: Your current school boundaries may be subject to change due to the recent redistricting process. Your Guide to the New School Boundaries
To ensure every student and family impacted is ready for the transition, we are dedicating the entire 2025–26 school year to communicating, engaging, planning and providing direct support to families and staff impacted by this transition.
