Office of Capital Programs, Planning & Design

School Facilities Modernization Project Information

The Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) Office of Capital Programs, Planning, and Design manages new facility projects (capacity projects) from implementation through the end of construction. The office also analyzes utilization, capacity, and enrollment projections for the division. New facility projects are funded via the Capital Improvement Budget.

The office is committed to modernizing school facilities at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. In order to provide transparent, proactive communication on capacity project work for the division, facility pages have been created for each school.

Stay updated on new/modernization projects through this webpage and our Modernization Calendar (coming soon).
