Career pathway development information 

Admission to the Alexandria Adult Learning Center (ALC) Workforce Development Program is currently closed. Please check back soon for program updates including registration information.

The ALC Workforce Development Program is a career pathway workforce development curriculum that combines professional training and multiple certificates including:

  • NorthStar Digital Literacy
  • Microsoft Digital Literacy Certificate
  • VA Wizard

We work in collaboration with the Alexandria City Workforce Development Center (WDC) program and other Regional Workforce Development Programs to help students learn valuable professional workforce skills such as résumé writing and interviewing in addition to their chosen program of study.
