High-Quality Work-Based Learning (HQWBL) is an integral component of Career and Technical Education that connects classroom learning with authentic workplace experiences. Through partnerships with business, industry, higher education, government, and community organizations, ACPS students apply academic and technical knowledge in real-world settings while developing the professional skills, confidence, and experiences needed for lifelong success.
Every HQWBL experience is intentionally designed to help students explore career interests, strengthen technical and workplace skills, build professional networks, and prepare for postsecondary education, employment, military service, and industry-recognized credentials.
