ACPS does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education program or the activities it operates
The School Board does not discriminate on the basis of sex in its education program or the activities it operates. The School Board is required by Title IX and U.S. Department of Education regulations not to discriminate on the basis of sex, and this requirement extends to admission and employment. Inquiries about the application of Title IX may be referred to the Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) Title IX Coordinator, the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights at the United States Department of Education, or both.
