  • Student Choice Awards

    Winner: Jared Peet, International Academy
One student wrote, "Thank you for your support because I know it is not easy but I thank you for everything because it always helps me to understand and thank you for explaining very well how you do it."

Honorable Mention: Kate Sicard, English Department
One student wrote, "As an english teacher she gives great feedback. She makes learning fun and not boring. Every student is allowed to express their thoughts on whichever subject we're talking about in class. She isn't strict but she makes it clear we must turn in our work on time and everyone respects her in every way. GREAT TEACHER!"

Honorable Mention: Ashley Phillips, Social Studies Department
One student wrote, "She is very determined on helping us prepare and pass the AP World exam. She even gives us colorful packets for every unit so that we can remember what we learned that unit (she buys the colorful paper herself). The packets she makes are also very helpful even though they are a lot of work. She always makes time to come in in the morning and afternoons so that her students can make up work or just help them do work. She also has a great personality."
